  • Heaven is a Perception

We live in a world of polarity, where we base our experiences, likes and dislikes, desires and goals on comparisons. Our opinions of better/worse, fun/boring, rich/poor, etc. all come out of our experiences and our awarenesses.

At its origin, earth was contrived this way so that we, Divine beings, could have an infinite number of options as to how we chose to shape our lives. When we see or feel something that is uncomfortable or not within our wanting, we have the impetus to choose differently and the power change the experience. Over the course of history, living in dense, heavy physical energies, we were not able to feel or remember that power, which often resulted in, instead, feeling victimized by events and situations. Earth felt like some kind of punishment… a banishment from God and Heaven.

The energies on Earth have become lighter over these last 50 years, and the veil between this physical world and the spiritual one from which we have all come is thinner. Human beings are changing as well. DNA is shifting and new strands are activating, so that more of our soul is accessible. It is said that even just twenty years ago only about 10% of our soul incarnated into the body. Now it is said that 25% of the entirety of our soul is in the body.

This allows us to access deeper parts of our higher knowledge and the power that comes from it. No longer do we need to believe in ourselves as victims. And as we tap into that part of us that is pure Spirit and Divinity, we tap into our ability to create… to manifest… the reality we choose to live in. We are capable of perceiving that this life can be positive and meet all our needs. We are able to have heaven here on earth.

Along with this choice, is the understanding that everyone else is also capable of making his and her own choices. We are each here to express ourselves in whatever way suits our individual personalities (some do this more consciously than others). And there are an infinite number of possibilities here on Earth, this planet of free will.

The method for creating Heaven on earth is a simple one: rescind all judgments and merely become aware. It is from this place of awareness that we can focus on our wants and desire, those things that fill our hearts with Love, instead of on what is irritating… or worse. Focusing on our heart’s desires creates the circumstances necessary to perceive heaven.

God, the Source of All There Is, has filled Earth with memories of Heaven. They are all here for us to partake of so we can remember who we really are and where we really came from. A warm sun, the power of crystals, the most amazing chocolaty desert, a motorcycle ride down a country road, mind-blowing sex, puppies and kittens… all of the things that raise the awareness of joy in our five senses are little bits of Heaven here, on earth.

(As I write this I am aware that not everyone will have the same responses to the things that my heart warms to. And that’s perfectly fine. That is, exactly, the result of free will, which constitutes different personalities and predilections.)

Follow this step-by-step approach to actualizing your desires into reality so life becomes more positive and heart-felt:

First, decide who you want to be, how you want to express that, and what you want to attract into your life. Second, connect with your higher Self, the part of you that enters through the area just below the back of your neck and settles in your heart. Concretely state to your Higher Self what you want to pull into your life. Then, ask your Higher Self, the part that knows your highest Truth, what it wants.

It is of utmost importance to keep your mind open to all possibilities, and give it time. It takes some time to change course, and move in a new direction. Additionally, don’t expect a direct, verbal answer from this part of your Self. Instead, keep your eyes open and notice what comes into your life. Stay aware… of the people, situations, opportunities, suggestions and gifts that are attracted to you.

As you attract more of what you want, life begins to feel better. When you feel better, you attract more of what you want. The cycle perpetuates itself, spinning out bigger and bigger. And soon it will truly feel like Heaven is on Earth.

  • Six Planets in Retrograde

When Mars went retro on April 17th, joined by Mercury Retrograde on April 28th there will be five planets in retrograde for the first time in a decade. Six will be retro grade if you include the minor asteroidal planet Juno. This scenario lasts until mid-September when all six planets will final go direct.

This extreme astrological condition will potentially cause some intense feelings, first of being stuck in molasses and out of sync. Second, it may feel as if you and the world are going crazy. However, according to James Tyberonn, “while exasperating on one level, can also be extraordinarily prolific in resolving karmic issues, and can result in a massive transformation and quantum leap in the higher evolution of your soul this year.”

These planets will affect many principle areas of life, including relationships, communication and expectations for ourselves, others and life in general. Practice patience and compassion for yourself and others. As always, do the inner work of self-reflection and healing when deep conflict arises.

When multiple planets are in retrograde at the same time, there is an intense amplification effect, with the sum being greater than the parts. The most intense time of combination will be from April 28th thru May 9th.

During this time, try your best not to engage conflicts, become apathetic, feel disempowered, over react, over criticize, or focus on fear or anger. Instead, use all of your self-soothing tools, such as: exercise, practice yoga, cleanse, take saunas, meditate, evaluate, focus on positive change. Wear an Amethyst and Lapis Lazuli for protection and clear communication.

Following is a brief outline of each planet and what to expect from the retrogrades.

Mercury Retrograde: Mercury rules communication and travel. During a retrograde flights may be delayed, baggage may be lost, and misunderstandings can occur. Computers, electronics and cars can be a bit more prone to glitches, interruptions and accidents. However, Mercury retrogrades also have a capacity to bring you back to earth, and offer a grounding aspect. This can be a good time to slow down, contemplate, meditate and internalize.

Jupiter Retrograde: Careers and finances seem to come into a slow, even seemingly disruptive period. Confidence can be at a low. What seemed certain may in this phase seem doubtful. You may feel anxious about job security and events may seem to pop up and justify such worry. Particularly in 2016 in the timing of Jupiter in retro simultaneously with Saturn, Mars and Mercury there will be a strong potential for over-worry and over reaction. Focus on the positive and visualize in constructive co-creation, and the final outcome will be far more powerful and positive.

Saturn Retrograde: The 2016 Saturn retro occurs from March 16th thru August 13th. Saturn rules life purpose, along with Karma, structure, order and the way in which we conduct our affairs.

During the 10 weeks of Saturn’s retrograde flow, expect the unexpected. Unsettling surprises, frustrations and slow-downs may occur on a weekly basis. Effective time management even for the most organized people may seem impossible. Projects that seemed online may get sidetracked by the pop-up of unforeseen tasks and unresolved issues of the past.

Mars Retrograde:  Mars will be retrograde from the 17th of April thru the 29th of June in 2016.  Mars rules energy, action, passion and desire.

When Mars is retrograde, you may not have the energy levels can be low, and projects, love life and goals seem to go on the back burner. A temporal sense of apathy can ensue for the ten weeks of Mars retro.

When Mars and Mercury are in tandem retrograde, it is a time to be very careful, to think twice before engaging any conflict. Tempers can be out of line and reactions can be overly aggressive, unnecessarily hostile and based on illogical & skewed conclusions. This is a time to give others extra space and allow the benefit of the doubt. There is an untoward tendency to be headstrong & stubborn in relationships during Mars retro… to be right at any cost. But it is not a time to burn bridges. Rather, it is a time to pull back and reconsider your own actions.

Pluto Retrograde: Pluto retrograde lasts from April 18 to September 26, 2016. This year’s Pluto retrograde will absolutely tug at you in deep exploration of your inner truth. You may have episodes of low self-esteem in Pluto retrograde, a tendency to concentrate on guilt and mistakes you have made in the past. This is an important timing for prioritizing and reconsidering life purpose and realigning appropriately to your divine self.

Juno Retrograde:  (Juno is a planetoid asteroid, discovered by German astronomer, Karl Ludwig Harding, in 1807. It is included in astrological measures because it does indeed project significant gravity waves.)

During a Juno retrograde cycle, our ability to live up to our commitments is on trial, and loyalty, fidelity and balance of power are all tested. It is in retrograde in 2016 from early March thru the June solstice.  This Juno retro is a time in which relationships can become rather testy at best, and meltdown at worst. Important relationships are put to the test, to measure if they meet mutual optimal expectations, and to be either worked out or released if they do not.

  • Is Your Mind Your Best Friend Or Your Worst Enemy?

We have the power to choose our thoughts. This is so important because thoughts are electromagnetic charges that clarify to the universe how we want to express ourselves in this incarnation. We are here to express ourselves creatively. That is the ultimate purpose for being. And we live in a world of free will — that is, there are an infinite number of possibilities of how to live and look and act and dress and speak and… Be. Prior to incarnation, each person choses all of this in order to have the specific experiences one needs for one’s own soul growth.

Over the course of human life on this planet, free will has been tamped down by Judgment. Judgment says, “You and I cannot both be right. One of us is more right.” Life experiences teach us to form opinions about ourselves and the world around us. Opinions come from our personal preferences and are, therefore, results of our personalities. Judgments, on the other hand, stem from a fundamental fear, the fear that we are separate from each other and from the Divine.

Diane is a successful businessperson. She functions well at work, has received many promotions and is running her own division. But Diane has a form of social anxiety. That is, after she attends any kind of group event, such as a party, book club or other social gathering, she begins second guessing herself. She chastises herself for what she said, how she spoke or what she was wearing. She dreads the thought of the next social function.

Diane’s thoughts turn on her, but in essence they do so in an attempt to keep her safe. Her mind was trained at an early age to be wary in social settings and so, in a misguided attempt to help her, her mind warns her that she is putting herself at risk.

The mind is a composite of everything we have ever experienced in this lifetime. It consists of parts that are positive, successful and supportive. It also consists of parts that criticize, victimize and condemn. All of us have this dichotomy existing within, sometimes more consciously aware of it than we are at other times.

Our mind seems built to form judgments, and in fact, does so in a misguided attempt to keep us safe. Discerning the appropriateness of our actions, words and appearance helps us feel accepted socially, which, in part, leads to our survival in society.
